Sun Valley / Picabo Fishing Report - 4th of July, 2016

Happy 4th of July from Picabo Angler! 

Cooler days are forecast for the week ahead. This should make for some great fishing. 

Tricos are on the Creek and this year you can not get to the water early enough. There is action from the crack of dawn until about 11:00 a.m. most days. If things continue to cool, this could push back an hour or so.

Green Drakes continue to bring the show to the Big Wood. Mid-Valley and up toward Ketchum is the place to start. This heat of the day bug should be present between lunch and dinner. 

The South Fork of the Boise is seeing decent Salmon Fly action and big foam flies are taking some fish. The cooler days should push this hatch along nicely.
