Sun Valley / Picabo Fishing Report - July 1, 2016

Welcome to the "be careful edition" of the fishing report. 

Stay hydrated! This heat can knock you back really quick. Please be careful. If you are coming from out of the Valley you also have to deal with altitude. Give yourself a day to hydrate and adjust before jumping into summer fun. Use sun screen and the appropriate clothing. 

If you are wading, keep your belt tight and leave your pup at home until the water drops enough to cross the rivers anywhere you want. Cleats on your boots are very helpful. We have screw in cleats available here at the shop.

If you are boating, be aware that the currents are a lot more pushy now than the last few years. Don't get in over your skill set. Also, if you have life jackets in your boat. Swallow your pride and at the very least, get them out of a clasped storage area and keep them where you can use them. 

Most of all, know that the safer you and yours are, the more fun you can and will have!
