Silver Creek Private Water Opportunities​

Picabo Angler offers more access to Silver Creek than any other Idaho Outfitter. We can fish with you over upstream hatches and spinner falls, or we can access quiet down river water where trophy Browns and Rainbows wait for the occasional Hopper or Mouse to present itself. Besides the private water listed below, we also guide the Nature Conservancy reaches and the Fish and Game reaches which are open to the public.

Horseshoe Bend Access

The Horseshoe Bend Access is one we use when the time is right. Early season hatches offer a wonderful opportunity here. It is also an excellent place for less mobile anglers as we can float tube down pristine stretches of river and choose our take out by the length of time you wish to be out on the water. Horseshoe Bend is also a great place for a family picnic or small group outing.

The Airstrip Water

The Airstrip is a wonderful piece of water found within walking distance of Picabo Angler. The Spring and Autumn months here provide excellent fishing over major hatches of Brown Drakes, Blue Winged Olives and Mahogany Duns. An often forgotten month is February, where we have the chance to throw streamers and occasionally midges to really large browns. The real fun here can be found in the heat of the summer and at night. We like to float through long stretches of this area fishing Hoppers and Mouse patterns in order to try and catch not only the biggest fish in the Creek, but some of the biggest Trout in the state of Idaho!
