Sun Valley Fishing Report - July 11, 2016

A cold night in the 30's is warming to a cool summer day today. Low 70s is the forecast meaning the evening fishing tonight should be where the show is on the Creek! Expect PMD and Baetis this evening.

We return to warm summer days the rest of the week, so plan on Trico, Callibaetis and Hopper fishing as the week progresses.

The Wood and Upper Lost are fishing very well with attractors like Royal Stimulators and Trudes. A Parachute Adams is also a must have in the fly box this week. Carry it in all the sizes.

The South Fork of the Boise should see a drop in angler pressure this week as the Salmon Fly activity subsides. It's time to fill you fly boxes with Pink Alberts and Grass Hoppers for this river.

Mosquitoes are still the main hatch on the Little Wood, but last nights cool temps and the wind yesterday may have knocked them back a bit. IN any case, if you go, take spray and the appropriate clothing.
