Brown Drake Update – June 7, 2019

We had bugs last night! Certainly not many, and the emergence was light, but the Brown Drake did show up. Today in Picabo it’s much cooler and overcast, so it’s likely that we will not see much in the way of bugs tonight. 

The weather will start to slowly warm up tomorrow, getting back to near 80 degrees on Tuesday. Look for the Drake to really get going then. 

 In the meantime, fishing Drake patterns blindly the next few mornings could be productive, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see some daytime Drakes as well.
