Is tonight the night?

That’s the question we’ve been hearing all day. The answer is…we hope so!

The weather looks favorable for a Brown Drake appearance. The Drake nymphs we’ve seen in the last two days are showing a much darker wingcase, indicating that they are closer to emergence.

Remain patient and be ready to drop everything if the Drakes appear tonight! Also, as the weather changes and gets cooler on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, be prepared to see daytime appearances of the Drake. Could be a blessing in disguise!

Keep your eye on our blog and social media for up to the minute Brown Drake information, or give us a call in the shop at 208-788-3536.

 Be Kind, Stay Kind!
