Brown Drake Update - June 16, 2019
Brown Drake emergences and spinner falls continue to occur on the Creek from the bridge at Highway 20 to the Picabo Road bridge. Heaviest concentrations of bugs seem to be from Highway 20 down to the Willows, so those are good areas to target the next few nights.
While the Drakes took a while to get started, overall the hatch has been a good one, and some really quality fish have been caught. Get out there and enjoy the Drake while you can!
This will be our last Brown Drake update, but please give us a call at 208-788-3536 for up to the minute updates, or for any other questions you might have.
All of us at Picabo Angler want to thank each and every one of you who stopped to see us this year during the Drake hatch. One of the reasons we truly love what we do is that we get to meet so many incredible people. The Brown Drake hatch is always a perfect time to catch up with old friends and make new ones, and we are truly thankful for that!
Remember to “Be Kind, Stay Kind” out there!
Thank you!
John, Chad, Nick, Zac, Cody, Andrew, Christian, Patrick, Fran, and Wes
